SPF, A HOT TOPIC!

SPF, A HOT TOPIC!

The importance of reapplying SPF is a huge misconception, unfortunately.

So many skincare brands market their makeup to have SPF, but the problem is we are applying our makeup usually early in the morning. This is before UV rays are truly at their peak levels of causing skin damage and by the time we leave the office for lunch break, or to run errands, it's time to reapply our sunscreen. But, who wants to reapply sunscreen over their makeup mid-day? You could grab a bucket hat and large sunglasses for some protection to your face and ears during those times.

When we are at the beach, by the pool or Cedar Point - it can be difficult, but it’s so important to remember to reapply your sunscreen during times like these.

So many people seek "anti-aging" skincare, but the best anti-aging action you can take is protecting your skin from damaging UV rays throughout your life, starting when you're young. Our sun damage adds up from the time we are children until the end of life. There's no time like the present to start protecting your skin.

KEY TAKEAWAY
Broad Spectrum SPF 30 or above, reapply every 80 minutes when out in the sun.

Your makeup with SPF is not enough!
